Adam Standring has a Masters in Politics from the University of York (UK) and a PhD in Political Science from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. His research focuses on the politics of expertise and knowledge production in international organizations. His most recent work has examined the discourse surrounding the recent financial crisis and the subsequent austerity policies. His work has been published in journals such as the European Journal of Political Research, Policy & Politics and Critical Policy Studies and his recent co-edited book on depoliticisation was published by Palgrave Macmillan.
